Looking for answers? The
Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian
faith in a relaxed, non-threatening manner over ten, thought-provoking
weekly sessions. It’s low key, friendly and fun. And, it’s supported by
all of the main Christian denominations. More than two million people,
worldwide, have found it to be a worthwhile experience, completing the
Alpha course in churches, homes, schools, universities and prisons.
The Alpha course consists
of a series of talks, presented on video tapes, addressing key issues
relating to the Christian faith. Each meeting begins by the group
sharing a light snack, giving everyone a chance to chat a little.
Discussion on the topic of the evening follows viewing of the
applicable session. Participants will enjoy a day long retreat
session together along with a celebration dinner at the end of the
course.
Listen, learn, discuss,
share opinions and discover. No question is too simple.
Next course to begin in September.
Bible Study
Opportunities
Along with the sixth offering of the Alpha course, additional Bible study opportunities are available.
Many, who have completed the Alpha course, have continued on together, exploring other studies. The groups have met in the classrooms or, rotated throughout participants' homes. These studies will continue with new topics and materials to help explore the Word.
If you have an interest or topic you would like to bring to a group, please feel free to do so. With the number of classrooms and/or homes that are available, the options are limitless. Classes can be held during the day, evenings, weekends - whatever best fits the schedules for those wishing to participate in a particular group.
