The Deacons of Third Church are elected men and woman dedicated to assist the pastor in spiritual growth and development of the parish and its members.  The Board of Deacons is made up of 15 members.  Deacons serve no more than two consecutive, three year terms, before taking a one year lapse in service.

Persons responding to this call are church members, who are 16 years of age, or older, in good standing and whose character and ability are in harmony with the dignity and reverance of this office. Members should have the integrity that shows itself in their speech, their actions, and their commitment of spiritual growth in themselves and others.
